Mike Hickman
Senior Pastor
Mike became the senior pastor of First Baptist Church on January 3, 2005. He is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and is a graduate of Mississippi College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to joining First Baptist, he was the membership pastor of Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia, where he had served for the past ten years. Mike and his wife Wren have three sons; Hamp, Sellers, and Schuyler.
Jamie Parker
Minister of Praise and Worship
Jamie began his tenure as Minister of Praise and Worship in August of 2009. He and wife Dana met while working on his Music degree at Union University. Jamie felt God's calling into full time ministry in 1993. They have two children Emily and Jerron and are so grateful for how God has worked to bring them to FBC Dyersburg and looking forward to the ministry ahead.
Jay Stephenson
Minister of Discipleship & Administration
Jay is originally from West Tennesseee. Jay and his wife, Lindsey both grew up in Jackson, TN, and both graduated from Union University in 1999. After getting married in 2001 they moved to Texas where Jay received a Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After graduation in 2002, Jay began his ministry in Dyersburg as Minister to Students at First Baptist. In the fall of 2006 Jay felt the Lord changing his ministry focus and in Jan. of 2007 transitioned from Student ministry to his current role as Minister of Discipleship and Administration. They are the proud parents of three boys, Quinton, Wyatt, and Sawyer.
Adam Lickey
Minister to Students
Adam is a recent graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY with a Masters of Divinity degree. Prior to that he received his Bachelors degree from Union University. While in Jackson he met and married Leslie, and they now have two beautiful children, Karis and Eli. He brings a fresh perspective and sense of excitement to the student ministry.
